Meet Ashley, the visionary force at Luva Events. Her journey began as a typical bride who developed a deep passion for wedding planning which eventually transitioned into a fulfilling journey as a dedicated wedding planner. Over the past three years, her mission has been to give couples the same peace of mind and freedom from worry that her wedding coordinator provided for her and her husband. Ashley and Brad were able to fully immerse themselves in every moment of their special day, and that's precisely what Ashley aims to deliver to each of our Luva Events clients.
Ashley’s diverse background in administrative assisting, direct sales, home parties, cheerleading coaching, Girl Scout leadership, and PTO presidency has undoubtedly guided her to this chapter of her life, equipping her to be a valuable asset to our clients.
Outside the world of events, you'll find Ashley on impromptu Sunday road trips with her husband in their Jeep, navigating the waters of Racoon Lake on their boat, indulging in kayaking adventures, and cherishing moments with her family. She proudly wears the hats of a wife to Brad and momma to Makaley, Kinsley, Brayley, Rhett, and their golden retriever, Ollie.

Meet Josh, who brings a blend of administrative expertise and a genuine passion for event planning to the Luva Events team. Growing up in the small town of Monon, IN, Josh's journey has been marked by a dedication to creating memorable experiences. Currently, he excels as an Administrative Assistant at Purdue University’s School of Materials Engineering, where he plays a pivotal role in organizing events such as the annual Awards and Graduation celebrations.
Josh’s love for event planning is deeply rooted in his everyday work, where he finds joy in the meticulous details that make each occasion special. His favorite part of any wedding is watching the partner walk down the aisle—a moment he describes as feeling like the world pauses, allowing the couple to savor the culmination of their journey together. Outside of work, Josh enjoys the simple pleasures of life, from sun-soaked days at the beach to leisurely walks with his beloved Frenchton, Louis. While he might hesitate to admit it, Josh is an avid reality TV enthusiast and finds relaxation in sipping on a Margarita (who doesn’t love a good Margarita!). His dream vacation is to explore Europe, hopping from Italy then to Greece, and from Rome to France, savoring every sight and culinary delight along the way.
Family is the cornerstone of Josh’s life, providing him with unwavering support in all his endeavors. In his spare time, you might find him skiing, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk with Louis. As an Associate Coordinator at Luva Events, Josh gets most excited about the collective joy and excitement that wedding days bring, finding immense satisfaction in seeing everyone come together to celebrate the couple's union.

BRANDEE SCHLUTTENHOFER

Meet Brandee, whose dedication and passion for event planning are sure to shine through in every wedding she helps create. Hailing from Wheatfield, Indiana, Brandee currently balances her role at Purdue University as a Pre-Award Specialist with her new journey in the wedding planning world. Her love for planning events and customer service makes her a perfect fit for helping couples embark on one of the most exciting new chapters of their lives.
Brandee has been married to her husband, Mitch, for six wonderful years, and together they are raising three delightful children: Carson, Noah, and Aubree. She finds immense joy in the celebratory atmosphere of weddings, with her favorite moment being when everyone hits the dance floor to celebrate together. Family is at the heart of Brandee's life, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. When she’s not planning events, you might find her enjoying a Cherry Coke while watching her favorite movie, The Devil Wears Prada, or dreaming about her future travels to Spain. A perfect day for Brandee involves a warm day at the park with her kiddos and husband, soaking in the simple joys of life. On wedding days, Brandee is most excited to witness the realization of our clients' dream weddings, making their special day as magical as they envisioned.

Meet Kinsley, an invaluable member of the Luva Events team who brings her exceptional skills and dedication to ensure the success of your wedding or event. As a key asset to our day-of staff, Kinsley possesses a unique talent for flawlessly executing your envisioned design, adding an extra layer of precision to every detail.
In addition to her role at Luva Events, Kinsley is a full-time college student, demonstrating her commitment to both academic excellence and professional growth. Alongside her studies, she works part-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), showcasing her unwavering work ethic and passion for making a positive impact in various aspects of her life.
Kinsley's dynamic blend of creativity, organizational prowess, and commitment to excellence makes her an integral part of our team, ensuring that your special day is not only flawlessly executed but also leaves a lasting impression. We are privileged to have her on board, contributing her talents to create memorable and seamless experiences for our clients.
BRAYLEY SMOOT

Meet Brayley, a dedicated member of his high school’s varsity wrestling team, he brings a youthful zest and boundless energy to the Luva Events team as an Event Assistant.
When he's not hitting the books or the wrestling mat, Brayley can be found whipping up sweet treats at the local ice cream shop, indulging in his love for riding dirt bikes, and spending quality time with his family. Despite his busy schedule, Brayley is always eager to lend a hand and spread a smile wherever he goes.
On event days, Brayley is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse, ensuring that every detail is perfect. From loading and unloading decor to cleaning and prepping items, Brayley's hard work and dedication make him the muscles behind the operation. He's Ashley's right-hand man, always ready to assist with a smile and a can-do attitude.
As an essential part of the Luva Events team, Brayley embodies the spirit of teamwork and enthusiasm. Whether he's working diligently behind the scenes or offering a helping hand on the day of an event, Brayley's commitment to excellence shines through, making him an invaluable asset to our company.
